Proof that holds up.

A photo without a timestamp, a location, and a clear audit trail is just a picture. It proves nothing in a dispute. Nothing in an audit. Nothing in court.

01

Photos are not proof by default

Most work photos are taken on personal phones, compressed through group chats, and saved to local camera rolls. By the time they are needed, the timestamps are unreliable, the location data has been stripped, and nobody can say for certain who took the photo or when.

That is not proof. That is a picture.

The gap between a photo and proof is the details. Most tools lose them. Thanex preserves them.

Photos cannot be deleted. Only invalidated.

Once a photo is captured in Thanex, it cannot be deleted. If the photo is wrong or no longer relevant, it can be marked as invalidated, removing it from standard views while preserving the original file and details.

Nobody can quietly destroy proof. Nobody can make a photo disappear because it no longer suits them.

Invalidation is auditable. Deletion is not. We chose the one that protects the business.

Every photo has a chain of proof

Each photo carries the timestamp of capture, the device that took it, the project it belongs to, the Photo Type that categorised it, and the context tags that described it.

When a dispute arrives, you hand over the photo and every detail travels with it. When a Building Safety Act audit lands, the full record is there. When a client challenges the work, you have the proof, not a compressed image in a group chat.

Built for construction. Built for proof.

WHAT THIS MEANS FOR YOU

The dispute ends in an hour, not three days.

When the letter arrives, you do not panic. The photo is there. The timestamp is there. The captured-by is there. You reply before lunch, and the dispute ends.

Questions you might have

Three things. The four proof details (where, when, who, what) recorded at the moment of shutter. No editing of the image. No deletion (photos can be invalidated but never removed). Together these give every photo a verifiable chain of proof.
